Antibiotic and zinc free feeding.

Although the reduction of antibiotic use is an issue that also affects farm technology, hygiene, animal health, and work organization, we presented feeding solutions specifically at the AIMS conference. In order to reduce the use of preventive antibiotics, the event focused on novel principles for the assembly of poultry and pig feed, the rearing of piglets without the addition of therapeutic doses of zinc oxide, and alternative options for the control of coccidiosis in poultry.

At the beginning of September, Vivagen AI Kft., which has been distributing boar semen since 2014, was sold to the company’s former reliable partner, Ceska PIC s.r.o.

With the arrival of this large international pig breeding company, this change will provide much greater added value to the domestic pig sector, and by selling, the domestic supply of pig breeds will become more diverse. With its high-quality work, PIC will greatly contribute to the further developement of the Hungarian pig market through the sale of both semen and breeding animals. In the future, the pig semen will be ordered and delivered in the usual way as it was before, without any disturbances.

The Agrofeed EB guessing game set nearly 150 of our partners in motion. Day by day, more and more people were playing in the Agrofeed Club of our new website, trying to find out the final score of the given match as accurately as possible. The day before the final match brought huge excitement, as even the tenth-place finisher had the possibility to win the game due to the higher scoring opportunity.

After the final whistle, Krisztián Simon, the managing director of Jándtej Ltd. may have been the happiest, as he was the first to break the finish line. The top ten finishers could choose from Dorko’s quality sportswear and sports equipment.
